Set Up Your Company
Add your business info so it appears on every quote, invoice, and email you send to customers.

Go to Settings and find the Company Information section

Fill in your company name, phone number, and business address

Upload your company logo — this appears on quotes and invoices

Step 2 of 8
Add Your Fence Products
Set up the fence styles you install with your pricing. This powers the auto-calculator when you draw estimates.

Go to Products and click "Add Product"

Choose a fence category (Wood, Vinyl, Iron, Chain Link) and style

Set your price per foot and any height options you offer

(Optional) Set gate prices for each product — one price for walk gates, and separate prices for 10ft and 12ft double drive gates.
Start with your most popular style. You can always add more products later from the Products page.

Create Your First Estimate
This is where the magic happens. Search any address, trace fence lines on the satellite map, and get an instant materials & labor breakdown.

Go to the Estimator and type a property address in the search bar

Click on the map to place fence posts along the property line — the footage updates in real-time

Select a fence style and height from your products — the BOM auto-calculates materials, labor, and total cost

Click "Save Project" to keep it in your dashboard
The estimator auto-detects property boundaries using satellite parcel data. You can also click “Auto-Trace” to automatically draw along the property line. No parcel data available? Switch to Manual Mode and freehand-draw fence lines directly on the satellite map.

Send a Quote to a Customer
Generate a professional, branded quote and email it directly to your customer. They can view, sign, and pay — all online.

Enter your customer's name and email

Preview the quote, then click "Send" — they receive a branded email with a link to view, e-sign, and pay a deposit
Customers see your logo, company info, and a detailed materials breakdown. They can e-sign and pay a deposit right from the quote page.

Connect Stripe to Collect Payments
Link your Stripe account so customers can pay deposits and balances directly from your quotes. Funds go straight to your bank account.

Go to Settings → Billing & Payments

Click "Connect Stripe" — you'll be guided through Stripe's secure setup (takes ~3 minutes)

Once connected, every quote you send will include a "Pay Deposit" button for your customers
Stripe handles all payment processing and security. There's no extra fee from Visual Fence Pro — just standard Stripe rates (2.9% + 30¢).

Optional: Connect QuickBooks & Google Calendar Optional
Supercharge your workflow by syncing estimates to QuickBooks and scheduling installations on Google Calendar.

QuickBooks — Sync customers, estimates, invoices, and payments automatically. Go to Settings → QuickBooks to connect.

Google Calendar — When you create a work order, it auto-adds the installation to your calendar with address and details.
These integrations are totally optional. You can set them up now or come back to Settings anytime later.
